Hands and towels

Women have left few marks in history books, but in the textile heritage, we still find the monograms of earlier generations. The day-to-day linen was the women's property, and therefore an economical capital in hard times. This is why they marked their textiles with their initials. Markings for belongings. In this art project I asked young and old women to talk about their life through their hands and old towels. Through their short texts you read 100 years of female history.
